God's Story
This page has the basics on what we believe. If you have questions not addressed here or would like further details, please reach out to us. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Who is God?
He is one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, sharing the same nature and having distinctive attributes.
Son - Jesus
Jesus Christ is God's eternal Son, the living and ever-present Lord. He is true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless life, died for the sins of the world, rose from the dead, and went to heaven. He talks to God, the Father on behalf of those who believe in Him. One day Jesus will personally and visibly return from heaven.
Who am I?
God created humans; male and female, in His image and free from sin. Humans, because of Adam's initial sin, are sinners by nature and choice. We are therefore spiritually dead and in need of salvation.
How can I be saved and have a relationship with God?
Like any relationship, it begins with a conversation. A conversation with God is called prayer. Here is a prayer for salvation and to begin a relationship with God:
Thank you, God, for loving me, and for sending Your Son to die for my sins. I sincerely turn away from my sins, and receive Christ as my personal Savior. Now, as Your child, I turn my entire life over to You. Amen
If you prayed this prayer or if you have more questions, please contact us below.
Father
God the Father, is an infinite, personal, spiritual being, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. He concerns himself mercifully in the affairs of men, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a person and is fully God. He calls, restores, and baptizes believers into the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer. He guides and empowers believers. He also gives gifts to all believers to be used in God's ministry to others. He brings an awareness of sin, of right living, and of wise decisions in every day life.
What is salvation?
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This grace of God, was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual. Salvation puts us in a right relationship with God and its end is eternal life.
What's next?
A relationship with God is similar to our relationships with others. We get to know Him through communicating. With God that is done through prayer and reading the Bible.
Getting involved in a local church is important as well. We can learn more about God through other believers preaching/teaching. Church is also a place to find support in making relationships with other believers and to be baptized. If you don't know where to go; ask God to help lead you where He wants you to be.
